**Role: Machine Learning Engineer**
We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our remote US team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformers, to enhance AI safety and threat detection capabilities.

**Responsibilities:**
*   Research, design, build, and evaluate novel ML models for LLM safety, red teaming, and AI security.
*   Work extensively with Python, LLMs, and transformer architectures.
*   Process and analyze large datasets relevant to AI behavior and security.
*   Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and security researchers.
*   Stay current with the latest advancements in ML, LLMs, and AI safety.
*   Contribute to the full ML lifecycle, from data acquisition to model deployment and monitoring.

**Ideal Candidate:**
*   Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
*   Deep understanding and hands-on experience with LLMs and transformers.
*   Experience in natural language processing (NLP).
*   A background or strong interest in cybersecurity is a significant plus.
*   Passionate about AI safety and motivated by our mission.
*   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
*   Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
