9 Mothers Defense is seeking a talented Computer Vision and Machine Learning Data Scientist to join our innovative team. We are building AI-driven defense systems, and this role will focus on developing advanced algorithms for detection, tracking, and decision-making in complex environments. You will work on transformer-based visual models and optimize them for deployment on edge devices using TensorRT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for object detection and tracking
- Design and train transformer-based visual models for defense applications
- Optimize ML models using TensorRT for deployment on edge hardware
- Collaborate with embedded systems engineers to integrate vision algorithms into robotic platforms
- Conduct research on cutting-edge ML techniques for real-world deployment
- Analyze sensor data to improve system performance and reliability
- Develop data pipelines for training and testing ML models
- Create and maintain documentation for ML systems
- Stay current with advancements in computer vision and machine learning

Required Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in computer vision or machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python, preferably with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with transformer-based models (e.g., Vision Transformers)
- Proficiency in TensorRT for model optimization
- Knowledge of object detection and tracking algorithms
- Experience with data preprocessing and augmentation for vision tasks
- Understanding of real-time inference requirements
- Familiarity with edge computing platforms
- Strong mathematical background (statistics, linear algebra)

Ideal Candidate:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in developing production-grade ML systems
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in computer vision or ML
- Experience with deploying models in resource-constrained environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and deliver innovative solutions
