Their hybrid work model allows for both in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, making them an attractive employer for top talent in the tech industry. **About The Role:** We are seeking two exceptional professionals to join our technical team. The first role is for an Embedded Robotics Engineer who will work on building the hardware and software systems that power our drone defense mechanisms. The second role is for a Computer Vision / ML Data Scientist who will develop and optimize the AI algorithms that enable our systems to detect and respond to threats in real-time. Both roles are critical to our mission and offer the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** **Embedded Robotics Engineer:** - Design, develop, and test embedded systems for robotics applications - Implement Python-based solutions on Jetson platforms for edge computing - Work with CAN/EtherCAT/EtherCAN buses for motor control and sensor integration - Integrate high-speed cameras and develop real-time image processing pipelines - Implement ROS (Robot Operating System) for system integration and communication - Optimize and deploy machine learning models using TensorRT on Jetson hardware - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components **Computer Vision / ML Data Scientist:** - Develop and train deep learning models for drone detection and tracking - Design and implement transformer-based visual models for improved accuracy - Optimize and tune TensorRT models for deployment on edge devices - Research and implement cutting-edge computer vision techniques - Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure model compatibility with embedded systems - Create data pipelines for model training and validation - Develop automated testing frameworks for model performance evaluation **Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:** **Embedded Robotics Engineer:** - Proven experience in embedded systems development (Python, C++) - Strong understanding of robotics hardware and CAN/EtherCAT protocols - Hands-on experience with Jetson platforms and edge computing - Familiarity with ROS and real-time operating systems - Experience with high-speed camera integration and image processing - Knowledge of machine learning model deployment on edge devices - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Computer Vision / ML Data Scientist:** - Expertise in deep learning and computer vision techniques - Strong programming skills in Python with experience in PyTorch/TensorFlow - Familiarity with transformer-based models and their applications - Experience optimizing models for edge deployment using TensorRT - Background in drone detection and tracking algorithms - Strong mathematical and statistical foundation - Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware and software teams **Additional Requirements:** - Must be a US citizen or hold a valid green card - Demonstrated ability to work on complex, ambiguous problems - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams - Passion for defense technology and security applications **Compensation:** Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
