AI/Software Engineer

**About The Role:** We're seeking a skilled AI/Software Engineer to join our small, fast-paced team. In this position, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions that address complex healthcare challenges. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into reality, iterating quickly on prototypes rather than getting bogged down in lengthy meetings. This role requires someone who balances technical expertise with a collaborative spirit and a passion for solving real-world problems.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, build, and deploy AI/LLM models and applications using Python/TypeScript
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support AI/ML applications
- Work with the latest GenAI models and integrate them into production systems
- Iterate rapidly on prototypes and demonstrate solutions quickly
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical documentation
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and software engineering

**Requirements:**
- Proven coding skills in Python or TypeScript (other languages are acceptable if you're adaptable)
- Solid foundation in AI/LLM concepts or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Experience with data engineering principles and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

**Nice-to-Have:**
- Experience with healthcare data and regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices
- Contributions to open-source AI projects
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
