Company: Adobe is a global leader in digital media and digital marketing solutions. Team: Join a close-knit, remote-first team of engineers building next-generation, interactive rendering technology. This technology powers a growing portfolio of high-profile creative tools, including the Substance suite of products. Role: We’re looking for a software engineer with a passion for computer graphics —real-time or offline— to lead and evolve our quality engineering efforts. This role combines strong software engineering skills with a deep focus on rendering quality and infrastructure. Responsibilities: * Contribute C++ code to the core rendering engine and related tools. * Design, build, and maintain automated tests and testing infrastructure. * Lead and evolve the team's quality engineering strategy and processes. * Play a key role in ensuring the renderer stays fast, stable, and visually correct across diverse hardware configurations. * Collaborate closely with rendering engineers to understand new features and develop effective testing approaches. * Analyze and report on rendering quality, performance, and stability metrics. Ideal Candidate: * Strong software engineering background, particularly in C++. * Demonstrable passion for computer graphics (real-time or offline). * Experience in software testing, test automation, or quality assurance, especially within a graphics or engine context. * Familiarity with different hardware platforms and graphics APIs (e.g., Vulkan, DirectX, Metal) is a plus. * Experience building tools and infrastructure. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively within a remote-first team environment.
