Founding Context Engineer

As a Founding Context Engineer at Aero, you’ll design and implement AI-powered retrieval systems that transform enterprise knowledge into actionable insights. You’ll work with our technical co-founders to craft embeddings, build retrieval pipelines, and develop models that drive revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement semantic search and retrieval systems
• Develop and optimize AI models for knowledge extraction
• Build scalable infrastructure for processing unstructured data
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers to integrate AI features
• Conduct research on novel AI techniques for enterprise knowledge access
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical strategy

Required Skills:

• PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or related field
• Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
• Experience with large-scale AI model deployment
• Strong research background with publications or open-source contributions
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

We offer competitive salaries of $160k-$220k plus meaningful equity. This is a full-time onsite role in New York City.
