Role Overview: The Enterprise Sales Engineer role at Alembic is designed for technical professionals who want to bridge the gap between engineering excellence and sales success. This position requires a unique combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer-facing experience. You’ll work closely with our sales team to demonstrate our platform’s capabilities to prospective enterprise clients, helping them understand how our technology can solve their marketing attribution and measurement challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify and qualify enterprise prospects
- Demonstrate technical capabilities of Alembic’s platform to potential customers
- Conduct technical presentations and product demos tailored to enterprise clients
- Translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
- Work with engineering teams to address customer-specific technical requirements
- Provide technical input during the sales process, including RFP responses
- Support the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation
- Develop technical documentation and training materials for sales team
- Coordinate with product managers to gather feedback from enterprise customers
- Participate in technical workshops and industry events to expand market presence
- Maintain detailed records of technical engagements and customer interactions
- Serve as a technical liaison between sales and engineering teams
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or enterprise software sales
- Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms and attribution models
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Experience working with enterprise clients and understanding their technical and business requirements
- Proficiency in technical demonstrations and product showcases
- Knowledge of data analytics, marketing automation, or advertising platforms
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools
- Demonstrated success in closing enterprise deals and achieving revenue targets
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
