Role: We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote team (Portugal-based). You will take a leading role in designing and implementing complex backend solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities: Design and implement robust, scalable server-side solutions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making. Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems. Drive architectural improvements and adopt best practices.

Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Node.js/Express and MongoDB/PostgreSQL. Deep understanding of system design principles, microservices, and database optimization. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Proven ability to lead technical projects.
