Developer Advocate
Full‑time (part‑time/flexible also available); Cambridge, UK; On‑site or hybrid; £38k‑£60k; Visa sponsorship available
We’re looking for a developer with great communication skills to show people how to build awesome things with Anvil and to make Anvil better to use.
You’ll write how‑to guides, blog posts and tutorials, build example apps, present Anvil at conferences, and help our users – from individual developers to large tech companies – build their web applications. You’ll also use what you learn to improve Anvil, deciding which examples to build or redesigning the onboarding flow for the Anvil Editor.
You don’t need to be a Python expert yet; we’ll get you there fast. You’ll write examples that other people will read as they learn, working directly with the founders, platform developers and other developer advocates to get up to speed.
It’s rewarding work – developers love being introduced to Anvil (our booth is always crowded at conferences!). You’ll have a high degree of autonomy, huge impact, and the chance to shape how we serve developers, from outreach to product design. Developer Advocates have a lot of influence in the company.
