Software Development Engineer - Wi-Fi Experience Team

Apple is seeking a Software Development Engineer with experience in networking and Wi-Fi technologies. As part of the Wi-Fi software development team, you will design, develop, and optimize Wi-Fi networking subsystem software across Apple products including iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.

You will work across software stacks to maintain and productize features collaboratively with hardware and software teams. The role requires owning the full software development cycle, from ideation to testing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing Wi-Fi networking software for Apple products
• Working across software stacks (Frameworks, UI, OS services, drivers)
• Making intelligent compromises between ease of use, performance, and efficiency
• Collaborating with hardware and software teams
• Driving the full development lifecycle

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with C/C++ or Objective-C
• UNIX systems experience and OS fundamentals
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Apple platforms
• UI/UX development knowledge
• Knowledge of 802.11 technologies
