**What You'll Do:**
* Improve our infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability
* Expand developer tooling to enhance productivity
* Scale our platform to handle increasing user demand
* Work on optimizing backend systems for performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly

**Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement new features and improvements
* Optimize existing systems for better performance
* Ensure platform security and reliability
* Work with our team to define technical requirements
* Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in backend development

**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in backend development
* Strong understanding of system architecture
* Experience with infrastructure optimization
* Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment strategies
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Nice-to-have:**
* Experience with open-source projects
* Familiarity with Appwrite's technologies
* Background in DevOps or platform engineering
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
* Understanding of security best practices for backend systems
