We are seeking a Lead Product Engineer to help build meaningful products in the real estate space from the ground up. This is a key role where you will influence the product direction and lead technical implementation. Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of core product features using Ruby on Rails and modern front-end techniques.
* Collaborate closely with founders and other engineers to define and refine product requirements.
* Mentor other engineers and establish best practices within the engineering team.
* Drive technical decisions and contribute significantly to system architecture.
* Work extensively with our modern Ruby on Rails stack and integrate AI/LLM capabilities to enhance our platform.

Requirements:
* At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
* Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails is essential.
* Proven experience leading complex projects or small engineering teams.
* Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like StimulusJS / Hotwire / Turbo, or AlpineJS is a plus.
* Experience or strong interest in leveraging AI/LLMs is a significant advantage.
* Excellent communication skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
* Ability to work effectively in a remote setting within US East Coast or European timezones.

Tech Stack: Ruby / Rails (8.x), StimulusJS / Hotwire / Turbo, AlpineJS, Postgres, Docker, DigitalOcean, OpenAPI, LLMs.
