About The Role:

We are seeking a Lead Front-end Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and execution of our front-end architecture. You will lead and mentor a growing team of developers, ensuring we build scalable, performant applications that meet our users’ needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing the front-end architecture for our financial products
• Mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative team environment
• Optimizing application performance and user experience
• Working closely with product managers and backend engineers to deliver features on time
• Ensuring code quality through code reviews and best practices

What You’ll Bring:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Expertise in React and TypeScript, with a strong track record of building complex applications
• Deep understanding of Web Workers and performance optimization techniques
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end tooling and workflows
• Familiarity with financial data visualization and trading platforms

Bonus points for:

• Experience with WebAssembly (WASM) and Rust
• Background in real-time/multiplayer applications
• Familiarity with financial markets and trading concepts

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £100,000 to £120,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work environment. This role is eligible for equity participation as we continue to grow and expand our market reach.
