Business Development Internship @ Ascento (3 Months, Full‑Time Pathway)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Business Development Intern to join our commercial team for a 3‑month internship. You will work closely with the CEO and BD team, supporting real client engagements and helping shape how robotics and AI are deployed at scale. For high performers, this role is designed to convert into a full‑time Business Development position.

What You Will Do

• Support lead generation, outreach, and early‑stage client conversations.
• Prepare client materials, proposals, and presentations.
• Assist in running demos of Ascento’s robotic solutions with prospects and partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support our go‑to‑market strategy.
• Capture insights from customer interactions to help inform product and commercial decisions.
• Contribute to pipeline management, CRM updates, and sales operations tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in business development, sales, or customer‑facing roles.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to engage with people.
• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of small projects end‑to‑end.
• Passion for robotics, AI, and technology‑driven products.
• Fluent in English; German or other languages are a strong plus.
• Based in Zurich and able to travel occasionally for client visits.
