About The Role: We are seeking a talented Front End Engineer to design and implement intuitive interfaces for our scientific applications. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge materials science and modern web technologies, creating tools that help researchers push the boundaries of what humanity can achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user interfaces for scientific applications using modern frontend technologies
• Implement interactive visualizations for complex materials data using WebGL
• Collaborate with backend engineers and scientists to integrate data and ensure the platform meets user needs
• Optimize frontend performance to handle large datasets and ensure a smooth user experience
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our platform, incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders
• Work closely with senior engineers from leading companies like Google and Amazon

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in frontend development
• Proficiency in Vue.js and WebGL or related frameworks
• Experience with scientific data visualization is a plus
• Experience with compute shaders and high-performance GPU programming is a big plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
