Atomic Tessellator is building the world's fastest, most comprehensive materials design web platform, accelerated by A.I., giving materials scientists advanced tools for creation, testing, and evaluation of atomic structures. We are the world's most advanced materials science platform.

We're seeking a Lead Front End Engineer to spearhead our platform UI development using Vue.js. This is a key role where you'll take ownership of the user interface for our cutting-edge materials science platform.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and implementation of the platform's user interface using Vue.js.
* Solve the technical challenge of rendering complex atomistic simulations in a physically accurate, visually interpretable, and performant way, leveraging Three.js.
* Collaborate closely with the backend, data science, and infrastructure teams to integrate front-end components with APIs and simulation data.
* Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and usability of the web application.
* Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the front end.

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Front End Engineer, ideally in a lead role.
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
* Extensive experience with Vue.js.
* Demonstrable experience with Three.js for 3D rendering and visualization.
* Experience with building complex, data-intensive user interfaces.
* Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for web applications.

Our platform allows users to perform AI Assisted Similarity Search, upload their own structures or query our database, refine and verify simulations via GPU acceleration, combine simulations into complex workflows via a user-friendly GUI, and fork simulations. We support deployment on private K8s or managed public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
