About the role

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our Console team and take ownership of the Axiom user experience. This role will define and build our design system from the ground up, shaping how thousands of developers interact with their data every day. You’ll bridge design and engineering, translating mockups into a living application, and work closely with our Design Lead to raise UI quality across the product.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve our design system. Lead the technical design, development, and rollout of our in‑house UI library, making it easier and faster to build high‑quality experiences.
• Ship with exceptional craft. Build new features end‑to‑end with a focus on UI details, polish, and interaction patterns that differentiate great products.
• Collaborate and elevate. Partner closely with product and design to iterate on ideas, and mentor other engineers to raise the collective quality bar.
• Transform our user experience. Audit the existing application, identify improvement areas, and drive the creation of a more polished, intuitive, and delightful Console.

Required qualifications

• Obsessed with UI craft. Measure the quality of your work by the end‑user experience; you love tweaking drop‑shadows and perfecting animations.
• Deep experience building design systems. Expert in React, component‑based architecture, and the trade‑offs of creating a scalable UI library.
• Thrives on bridging design and code. Enjoy iterating on interface design in code and solving complex interaction challenges.
• Driven by impact and ownership. Excited to have massive, visible impact on the product and company trajectory.
