We are seeking a skilled Edge/Autonomy Engineer to join our team in developing advanced pilot assistant software. In this role, you will design and implement systems that run on the edge and autonomously assist pilots in complex scenarios. This position involves working with cutting-edge technologies in AI and autonomy to create a system that can predict, plan, and execute tasks to improve flight operations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing software for edge devices that run in the cockpit environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomy features into the pilot assistant system
- Optimizing algorithms for real-time performance in safety-critical aviation environments
- Testing and validating the software to meet aviation standards and regulations
- Working with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
- Analyzing flight data to improve system performance and safety outcomes
- Developing machine learning models that can predict flight outcomes and assist pilots in decision-making

The ideal candidate should possess:
- Proven experience in developing software for embedded systems or edge computing environments
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with a focus on system-level programming
- Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and autonomy technologies
- Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded software development
- Familiarity with aviation systems and regulations (FAA Part 25/23)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with safety-critical systems development methodologies
