Role: We are seeking Senior and Staff Backend Engineers to join our team in San Carlos, CA (Hybrid). You will build and scale the robust backend systems powering our real-time aviation technology.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. Work with large datasets and real-time data processing pipelines. Collaborate with frontend, cloud infra, and autonomy teams to deliver cohesive features. Contribute to architectural decisions and system design. Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend infrastructure.

Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience in backend development (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#). Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and microservices architecture. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Experience in real-time data processing is a plus. Passion for aviation and safety.
