Company: Better Off (betteroffsocial.com) is a marketplace for social experiences, connecting users with events and people through AI-powered matching. We host diverse experiences like brunches, trivia, sports leagues, and classes, aiming to be the go-to platform for meeting new people outside of work and dating apps. We are based in NYC and operate in the IRL Social and Artificial Intelligence space.

Role: We are launching in major cities this year and seeking our first dedicated Growth Marketer to join our 12-person team in NYC (Onsite). This is a junior-level role (0-4 years experience) perfect for someone looking to build a marketing function from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be instrumental in building and executing our comprehensive marketing strategy. This includes both digital (e.g., social media, content, SEO/SEM, email) and guerilla marketing initiatives. Your core objectives will be to drive user acquisition, build brand awareness for Better Off, effectively reach target audiences, and solidify our position as a compelling alternative to traditional dating apps for social connection.

Ideal Candidate: We're looking for a creative, proactive, and results-oriented individual passionate about building communities and the IRL social scene. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, possess strong analytical skills to measure campaign effectiveness, and be excited by the challenge of growing a brand in a competitive market. Experience with digital marketing channels and analytics tools is highly beneficial. Familiarity or willingness to experiment with guerilla marketing tactics is a plus. Excellent communication and execution skills are required.
