**Job Description:** As a Senior Platform DevEx Engineer at BCC, you'll lead a cross-functional team building tools and systems for NCBI. You'll design GitLab CI pipelines, Python applications, and Kubernetes configurations to standardize development and deployment processes. Your work will directly impact the ability of developers to create high-quality software efficiently.

**Responsibilities:**
- Architect and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Develop Python-based tools for DevOps and customer interfaces
- Create Kubernetes templates for multi-tenant deployments
- Troubleshoot complex deployments on Kubernetes platforms
- Mentor junior engineers and drive platform innovation

**Requirements:**
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps and software engineering
- Mastery of Python, C++, and containerization
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Experience with observability and service mesh technologies
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
