Blue Origin is developing reusable space technology, including the New Glenn rocket, the Blue Moon lunar lander, and the Orbital Reef space station, with the mission to enable millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth. This role is within the Enterprise Technology (ET) organization, specifically focusing on supply chain and manufacturing technology, developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space.

Join the Warehouse and Inventory Technology team, building systems to track the hundreds of thousands of parts that go into our rockets, used by thousands of users and critical to Blue Origin's fast-moving manufacturing goals. Responsibilities include collaborating extensively with other engineers to deliver new features from our ambitious roadmap, implementing new features using backend and frontend programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript and React, integrating with AWS products such DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS and many others, utilizing modern technical design patterns and frameworks such as GraphQL, REST APIs and messages queues, participating in code reviews and helping peers write high-quality code, communicating ideas through words, diagrams, and code, and diagnosing and resolving issues within existing software.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in software development with 3+ years of experience, proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java or C++), strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures), a proven track record of successfully delivering new software features, ability to solve problems by writing efficient code given clear requirements, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovation in aerospace and space exploration. Preferred qualifications include experience with manufacturing, aerospace, defense industry, Agile methodologies, iOS/Android/React Native development, HTML/CSS/React, CI/CD strategies, and relational/non-relational databases.
