**Role: Staff Software Engineer**

Boost My School is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team helping schools build a better future. You'll love building a product that improves a user’s life so much that they can’t help but share it with their peers.

**Responsibilities:**

*   Deploy to production multiple times in your first week in our fast-moving environment.
*   Be responsible for and implement major architecture decisions and initiatives.
*   Make major contributions across the entire stack: infrastructure, frontend (React/Relay), backend (Rails GraphQL API), analytics, internal tools.
*   Play a key role in selecting future technologies.
*   Work with teammates that care about writing maintainable code (CI/CD, incremental PRs, strict linting, type checking, strong test coverage).
*   Opportunity to grow with the company into a manager.
*   Work directly with and report to our CEO & Founder.
*   Support teammates in a small team environment.

**Technical Skills:**

*   Our stack: Ruby, Rails, React, Relay, GraphQL, Typescript.
*   Experience with modern web development practices and significant architectural contributions.

**About You (Ideal Candidate):**

*   6+ years of software engineering experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company, demonstrating technical leadership.

**Compensation:**

*   Salary: $147,000 - $185,000
*   Bonus: $16,000 - $26,000
*   Equity with 4-year vesting.
