Platform Engineer

Brilliant.org is building world-class interactive learning experiences focused on quantitative skills (Math, Data, CS/AI). We use interactive problem solving to make learning effective and fun for over 10 million learners worldwide. Role & Responsibilities:
As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to the core technology powering Brilliant's learning experiences at massive scale. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems, infrastructure, and APIs that support our web and mobile applications and interactive authoring tools. You'll work on improving reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform.

Technical Skills:
Experience with backend development (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Ruby), cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP), databases (SQL/NoSQL), API design, distributed systems, and a commitment to robust, scalable code.
