**About The Role:** Backend Java Software Engineer at BTI360 builds the foundational services and APIs that power our data-centric applications. Specializing in Java and the Spring framework, you will design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure backend systems that support advanced data discovery, analysis, and delivery. We embrace cloud-native design principles—leveraging containerization, microservices, and distributed architectures—to build resilient services. You will work closely with frontend developers, platform engineers, and mission stakeholders to deliver robust, performant, and scalable solutions.

**Responsibilities:** 
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring
- Implement secure and maintainable systems following best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
- Optimize system performance and reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience with Java and Spring framework
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization
- Security-conscious development practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
