Head of Propaganda (DevRel)

**About Bun:** Bun is on a mission to make building with JavaScript more productive. We are seeking a Head of Propaganda (DevRel) to enhance the end-to-end experience of using Bun. This role is extremely important for getting more people & companies to switch to Bun.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead advocacy and community engagement efforts to promote Bun in the developer community.
- Create and maintain integrations with various third-party projects on GitHub.
- Contribute to the development of clear, comprehensive documentation.
- Assist in writing TypeScript types and provide support in resolving technical issues faced by the user community.
- Work closely with the development team to relay feedback from users and suggest improvements.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Self-motivated with high agency: We are looking for people who are willing to fix it when using Bun is harder than it should be.
- Experience in building things with Bun or similar tools.
- Excellent communicator: You will be expected to write content about Bun and respond to questions from people who sometimes may be confused or unhelpful.
- Strong JavaScript experience with a track record of using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

**Compensation:**
The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Bun's equity plan.
