**About The Role:** The Engineering Manager at Cactus will lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving the technical vision and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of software development processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for assigned projects.
- Facilitate code reviews and technical design sessions.
- Ensure team productivity and project timelines are met.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Resolve technical conflicts and architectural challenges.
- Collaborate with product managers to define project requirements and priorities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FHIR).
- Optimize team workflows and processes.
- Provide regular status updates to senior management.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong technical background in software engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FHIR).
- Experience in scaling engineering teams and processes.
- Ability to make technical decisions and drive innovation.

**Compensation:**
The estimated pay range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Cactus's equity plan.
