About The Role: We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our API Platform team. This is an opportunity to work on exciting greenfield development in an early-stage project. The role involves designing and building scalable, robust, and maintainable systems. You will be responsible for leading code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our API platform.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on platform engineering or API development.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and/or other relevant languages.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, relational databases (especially PostgreSQL), and identity management platforms.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
