As a Senior Product Designer at Cambly, you will lead the design process for our mobile applications, ensuring every interaction enhances the learning journey. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to create solutions that balance aesthetic appeal with functional excellence. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and creative vision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement design systems that ensure consistency across platforms
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into user-centric designs
- Develop interactive prototypes to validate concepts before development
- Advocate for user needs and champion inclusive design practices
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence

Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product design with a focus on mobile applications
- Mastery of design tools including Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong visual design skills with expertise in typography, color theory, and layout
- Experience with user research methodologies and data-driven design
- Ability to create responsive designs that work across diverse devices
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in educational technology or complex applications
