Senior Product Engineer AI

Checkly is seeking a Senior Product Engineer AI to join our innovative team. We help engineers build reliable products by unifying testing, monitoring, and observability through OpenTelemetry, Playwright, and Monitoring as Code.

About the Role:

As a Senior Product Engineer AI at Checkly, you will be instrumental in designing and building AI agents and AI-enhanced features that help customers debug, fix, and create tests faster. You’ll work across the full stack, collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams to implement solutions that enhance our platform.

Responsibilities: • Design and build AI agents and features that improve testing, monitoring, and observability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and implement innovative solutions • Develop and maintain machine learning models for predictive monitoring and debugging • Optimize existing AI features and integrate new technologies • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design decisions • Stay at the forefront of AI and machine learning advancements in monitoring and observability

Requirements: • Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript • Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.) • Deep understanding of monitoring, observability, and testing principles • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges • Strong communication and collaboration skills • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML
