Senior/Staff UX Designer

About The Role: We are seeking a Senior/Staff UX Designer to join our product team. You will play a key role in designing intuitive interfaces for Checkly’s monitoring and observability platform. This is an opportunity to significantly impact the user experience while collaborating with product managers and engineers.

What You’ll Do:

• Design user interfaces for complex monitoring tools
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create design systems and components that scale across the platform
• Collaborate with product managers to define user flows and wireframes
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications
• Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional UX design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex SaaS products
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
• Experience with user research methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with data visualization tools
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
