Role: Principal Engineer, Fullstack (NYC)
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer, Fullstack to provide technical leadership within our engineering team in New York City. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, architecting major systems, and solving the most challenging problems in building CLEAR's full-stack applications. This role requires working onsite 5 days a week in our NYC office.

Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture for full-stack applications.
- Lead the design and implementation of critical systems and features.
- Mentor senior engineers and set a high bar for technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product and leadership on long-term vision.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advocate for adopting new technologies where appropriate.

Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Java) and frameworks (e.g., Spring).
- Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Mastery of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), system design, and scaling.
- Extensive experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
