Role: Software Engineer, Backend (Java) (NYC)
We are seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Backend Java development to join our team in New York City. You will focus on building and maintaining the robust, scalable, and secure backend services that power CLEAR's platform. This role requires working onsite 5 days a week in our NYC office.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, mobile engineers, and product managers.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code based on requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to team coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot).
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
- Understanding of microservices architecture concepts.
- Experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and version control (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
