Role: Senior Software Engineer (NYC)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in New York City. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and leading the implementation of applications that power CLEAR's experiences, likely contributing across the full stack or focusing on backend systems. You'll mentor junior engineers and contribute significantly to architectural decisions. This role requires working onsite 5 days a week in our NYC office.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex software components and systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA).
- Write high-quality, scalable, and robust code (likely Java/Spring for backend, potentially JS frameworks for frontend).
- Champion best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize application performance.

Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in relevant languages/frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring, React/Angular/Vue, SQL).
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and services.
- Solid understanding of system design, databases, and potentially microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development.
