**About The Role:** We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team and play a key role in building and scaling our data infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on our product. You will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that power our ClickHouse database, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and innovation.

**Key Responsibilities:** 
- Design and develop scalable cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Build and maintain the ClickHouse Kubernetes Operator, enabling automated management of ClickHouse clusters
- Implement advanced scaling strategies including Scale To Zero, Vertical and Horizontal Scaling, and Make Before Break Scaling
- Develop recommendation systems for autoscaling and resource optimization using time series analysis and forecasting algorithms
- Contribute to ClickHouse internals and performance optimizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on infrastructure goals and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including on-call responsibilities for database and infrastructure problems
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge about best practices in cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration, with experience managing stateful services in multi-cloud environments
- Strong proficiency in Go and Python, with experience building distributed systems
- Understanding of database internals and optimization techniques
- Experience with autoscaling and forecasting algorithms is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with low-level database programming (C++) is a plus

**Compensation:** The estimated pay range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000, with additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and more.
