About The Role: We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our dedicated security team. This role involves designing and implementing secure-by-default systems in our cloud-first AWS environment with Kubernetes. You will play a key role in protecting Clio’’s infrastructure from evolving threats while collaborating with engineering, product, and security teams to embed security practices throughout our development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of secure infrastructure components for Clio’’s cloud platform
• Implement and maintain security controls across our AWS architecture
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management
• Collaborate with security teams to develop and enforce secure coding practices
• Design and implement network security solutions to protect against DDoS and other attacks
• Oversee security monitoring and incident response processes
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and develop countermeasures
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes security and containerization
• Strong understanding of network security principles and protocols
• Experience with security automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Background in threat modeling and risk assessment
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to balance security requirements with business needs
• Experience with cloud security services (AWS Shield, Inspector, Config)
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
• Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
