About The Role: We are seeking a Software Development Manager, Product Security to lead our growing team focused on building innovative security features. This role involves managing a team of engineers while developing cutting-edge security capabilities that protect our platform and enhance user trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of security engineers and developers
- Define and implement product security strategies and roadmaps
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle
- Design and build innovative security features that address emerging threats
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for new product initiatives
- Oversee security testing and vulnerability management processes
- Stay current with industry security trends and best practices
- Drive security awareness and training programs across the organization
Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience leading software development teams in security-focused roles
- Deep understanding of software security principles and practices
- Experience designing and implementing security features in cloud environments
- Strong technical background with knowledge of secure coding practices
- Ability to balance security requirements with business priorities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (OWASP, NIST)
- Background in product security or application security
- Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
