About The Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with a focus on databases to join our engineering team. This role involves designing and implementing scalable database solutions that power our legaltech platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize database schemas for high performance
• Develop and maintain database systems using MySQL at massive scale
• Implement data replication and failover mechanisms
• Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
• Collaborate with application teams to ensure data integrity
• Monitor database performance and implement improvements
• Stay current with database technologies and best practices

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience with database design and optimization
• Deep expertise in SQL and relational databases (MySQL preferred)
• Understanding of database transaction management and ACID properties
• Experience with database replication and sharding
• Knowledge of indexing strategies and query optimization
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks and database abstraction layers
• Ability to work with large datasets and high-traffic applications
• Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
