About The Role: We are seeking a Staff Database Engineer to join our database team and drive innovation in how we manage and process data. This role involves designing and implementing scalable database solutions that power our legaltech platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement database solutions at massive scale
• Optimize database performance for read-heavy workloads
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define data requirements
• Implement data governance and quality assurance processes
• Stay current with database technologies and best practices

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Staff-level database engineer
• Deep expertise in database architecture and optimization
• Experience with distributed databases and data warehousing
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database administration
• Familiarity with data modeling and normalization principles
• Experience with data replication and distributed systems
• Ability to mentor other database engineers
• Bachelor’’s or Master’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
