Company: Clio is the market leader in legaltech products with strong financials (300M+ ARR, 90% retention, 30% growth YoY, no debt, no layoffs) and a recent $1.4B CAD Series F funding round valuing the company at $4B CAD.

Role: Software Development Manager responsible for leading a team of engineers. The role involves 50-60% people management, 20-30% technical leadership, and 10-20% hands-on coding (average 1-2 PRs a week). You will manage 4-6 direct reports.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Mentor and grow engineers on your team.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural direction.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to code reviews and occasionally write code.

Requirements:
- Experience in people management and technical leadership.
- Strong software development background. Experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) on AWS is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
