Senior Software Engineer - Backend/Python

We are looking for experienced Backend Engineers who can design, implement, and scale robust backend systems that power our SaaS platform.

**Key Responsibilities:** 
*   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
*   Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define and implement new features
*   Optimize database queries and API performance for better user experience
*   Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of backend systems
*   Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and architectural standards
*   Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly

**Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:**
*   Proven experience as a backend engineer with a strong foundation in Python
*   Deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
*   Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
*   Familiarity with asynchronous processing and message queues
*   Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
*   Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems
*   Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote-first environment
*   Passion for building scalable and efficient systems

**Compensation:**
The estimated pay range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000, plus bonus and equity.
