Engineering Manager, Workers Runtime

The Engineering Manager leads and scales the Workers Runtime team, which delivers features that execute customer code on Cloudflare’s edge. The role involves guiding a cross‑functional group in building a performance‑first, secure, and highly available runtime that supports JavaScript, Rust, Python, and WebAssembly. Responsibilities include defining product vision, driving technical direction, hiring and mentoring engineers, coordinating with security and networking teams, and ensuring that the runtime scales to meet the next 10× increase in traffic.
