Ruby/Rails Developer

As a Ruby/Rails Developer, you’ll work on a large, established codebase with opportunities for greenfield development alongside maintenance tasks. We’re looking for experienced developers who can contribute to our growing platform, leveraging their expertise in Ruby on Rails to build robust, scalable applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement features
• Write clean, testable, and efficient Ruby code
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Work with database design and optimization
• Contribute to team decisions regarding technical direction

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with Git version control
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Portfolio demonstrating Ruby/Rails expertise
• Understanding of RESTful API design
• Experience with database management (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Vue.js frontend integration
• Familiarity with healthcare industry systems
• Content management system experience
• Experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara)
• Knowledge of deployment pipelines and CI/CD
