Senior Software Engineer - Backend

At Connie Health, we’re revolutionizing Medicare navigation through a combination of AI technology and experienced local agents. We’re seeking a versatile Backend Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our core platform.

This hybrid role (Boston, MA base) requires you to take full ownership of impactful projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance as we expand our reach. You’ll implement and optimize APIs, data models, and business logic, collaborate with product managers and machine learning engineers, and write clean, well-tested code. Experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and a product mindset.

Minimum qualifications include 5+ years of backend development experience, proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and NodeJS, and experience with SQL databases. Familiarity with NestJS, Docker, AWS, and Salesforce APIs is highly valued. A background in healthcare or insurance is a plus.
