About The Role: We are seeking a New Grad Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our AI code assistant platform. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and work with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of new features for the Continue platform
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and testing processes
  • Troubleshoot and debug code problems
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends

Required Skills and Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, completed within the last 1-2 years
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (TypeScript, Kotlin, Rust, or Go)
  • Experience with software development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Fast learner with a passion for technology
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts and distributed systems
