**About The Role:** CoPlane is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our small founding team. You will play a critical role in building and scaling the infrastructure that powers our Agentic Orchestration platform. This platform enables enterprises to automate complex workflows across their existing systems, using AI to enhance operational efficiency. As a Platform Engineer at CoPlane, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services that underpin our platform. You will work closely with the founders and other engineers to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement scalable backend services for our platform
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable workflow orchestration
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with the team to define and implement system architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in backend engineering
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerization strategies
- Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure with industry standards
- Work with the team to define and implement monitoring and logging solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure

**Required Skills:**
- 5-8 years of experience in backend engineering
- Proficiency in languages like Go, Python, or Java
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- A track record of building and scaling high-performance systems
- Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with API design and development (REST, gRPC)
- Understanding of security best practices for cloud infrastructure

- Passionate about building robust and scalable systems
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of system design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
