Company: Corgi is the first fully AI-powered insurance company automating every aspect of the value chain. Role: We are hiring Generalist Engineers with strong backend skills to join our fast-paced team. You will be involved in building and scaling the core infrastructure and features of our AI-powered insurance platform.

Responsibilities:
*   Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and systems.
*   Collaborate across the engineering team and potentially contribute to frontend development (React/Next.js).
*   Work within our development process: trunk-based development, pushing directly to main multiple times daily. We operate without pull requests, sprints, or Jira, emphasizing rapid iteration and deployment.
*   Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices.

Technical Skills Required:
*   Strong proficiency in backend development, particularly with Go and/or Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI).
*   Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
*   Familiarity with containerization (Docker).
*   Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
*   Experience with caching (Redis) and message queues (RabbitMQ).
*   Experience with React/Next.js is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:
*   Proven experience as a backend or generalist engineer.
*   Thrives in a high-intensity startup environment.
*   Adaptable and able to learn quickly.
*   Comfortable with our development practices (trunk-based, no PRs/sprints/Jira).
*   Willing and able to work onsite in the SF Bay Area, 7 days a week.
