We're hiring for the following role:

**Software Engineer**

- 2–5 years of experience
- Experience with Rails and Turbo
- You've shipped real features and want to level up fast in a high-ownership environment
- Interest in secure systems and modern AI application development

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design and implement secure and scalable systems
- Collaborate with product and security teams to define requirements and solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code using Ruby on Rails
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to our systems

**Requirements:**

- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Ruby and Rails
- Experience with the Turbo framework
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and web security vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with database design and optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Compensation:**

The estimated pay range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. This role is eligible to participate in Costa Security's equity plan.
