About the Role:

We are hiring our first product engineers to help build our core platform. This role focuses on the user experience (UX) aspects of our product, including our web interface (Rails+StimulusJS+Turbo), command-line interface (CLI), and potentially a desktop application (Electron). You will be instrumental in creating a single, seamless interface for network and security teams to deploy, configure, and manage complex hybrid overlay networks, AI gateways, and security services.


Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using Ruby/Rails, StimulusJS, Turbo, and potentially Electron.
- Develop intuitive and powerful command-line tools.
- Collaborate with the platform team and founders to translate complex networking and security concepts into understandable and manageable user interfaces.
- Help shape the user experience and overall product direction.
- Contribute to building our engineering culture based on mutual respect, shared responsibility, continuous curiosity, and intellectual honesty.


Ideal Candidate:

- Experience building web applications with Ruby on Rails, StimulusJS/Turbo, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience developing CLIs.
- Familiarity with networking and security concepts is a strong plus.
- Some experience building with AI or AI-related tools is beneficial.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic, early-stage startup environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Values curiosity, humility, and intellectual honesty.

Ruby/Rails, StimulusJS, Turbo, Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, Wireguard, Electron (potentially).
