**About Count:** Count is a revolutionary data analytics platform designed to unify various data tools into a single, collaborative workspace. We combine the functionalities of Jupyter, Tableau, and Miro, enabling data teams to iterate models, perform in-depth analyses, and create process flow maps. Our platform is built on custom technologies including a WebGL rendering engine, a data visualization library, and a reactive SQL/Python notebook framework. We are a small, agile team looking for experienced software engineers who are passionate about tackling deep technical challenges in the data analytics space. Our tech stack includes TypeScript, Python, Node, WebAssembly, WebGL, Apache Arrow/Parquet, DuckDB, Kubernetes, and React.

**Key Responsibilities:** 
* Lead the development of data visualization components and backend services for our canvas-based BI tool
* Optimize data processing pipelines using technologies like DuckDB, Apache Arrow, and Parquet
* Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to implement features that enhance user experience
* Design and implement scalable solutions for handling large datasets and high-concurrency queries
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions

**Required Skills:**
* Proven experience with TypeScript, Python, Node.js, and WebAssembly
* Deep understanding of distributed systems and database optimization
* Experience with WebGL and custom rendering engines
* Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and techniques
* Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React
* Ability to work with both SQL and Python-based data processing

* A software engineer with 5+ years of experience in backend and frontend development
